Decision Archive is an independent iPhone journal for closed-loop decisions. You log options, seal a Prediction Capsule, and return on schedule to score reality — so calibration becomes a practice, not a hunch.
Inside the app you work through Due check-ins, an Open desk, Accuracy charts, Patterns, and Briefs. Your archive stays on your device in a private local store.
Decision Archive is not affiliated with any employer, bank, healthcare provider, or third-party advice service. It is a personal forecasting journal — not financial, legal, or medical advice.
Privacy

Decision Archive is built around local storage. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not sell your personal information.
This Privacy Policy describes how Decision Archive (the “Application”) handles information when you use our decision journal for iPhone. The Application is provided by Mintys NZ Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
1. Information We Collect
Decision Archive does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Decision titles, context, options, reasons, and tags you enter
- Forecast capsules (satisfaction, regret, time, money) per horizon
- Reality checks, reflections, and calibration results derived on-device
- Display preferences and onboarding state
- Optional example decisions you choose to load
2. How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to profile, share, or sell. All features — Due, Open, Accuracy, Patterns, and Briefs — operate using data stored on your device.
3. Data Storage & Retention
Content is saved in the Application’s private documents space on your device (local JSON archive). There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us. Deleting the Application permanently removes associated local data from your device. You may also reset the archive from Settings.
4. Third-Party Services
Decision Archive does not include third-party analytics, advertising networks, or content APIs that receive your decision archive. App Store distribution and optional device system services are provided by Apple under Apple’s own terms.
5. Data Security
Your information is protected by your device’s own safeguards. Because decision content is not transmitted to our servers, it is not exposed to the risks of remote storage operated by us.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, the app aligns with COPPA and similar standards for local-only tools.
7. Your Control
You can edit or delete decisions at any time, reset example data from Settings, or uninstall the Application to remove all stored content from your device.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local storage, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
